Philadelphia, also known as the 'City of Brotherly Love' is Pennsylvania's largest city with approximately 1.5 million people in the city and just under 6 million people when including it's suburbs.
Established in 1701 by William Penn, the city has played a major role in the history of the United States. During the American Revolution the city served as the location for the First and Second Continental Congress, the signing of the United States Delcaration of Independence, as well as the Constitutional Convention after the war. Today visitors to the city can find out all about it's rich history by visiting the many historical sites such as the Independence National Historic Park.
