Tips when visiting
1. When visiting areas outside of the Philadelphia area in the summer, bring a light jacket because nights can be cool.
2. Best months for winter activities are December, January, and February. Most ski resorts will make snow in the months of November, March, and even sometimes April as long as it is cold enough.
3. Best times for fall foliage are late September through October. Peak times will vary depending on the weather that year and part of the state with the southeast peaking later than the north and west.
4. March and April are usually wet months. The saying goes April showers bring May flowers.
5. Spring flowers peak in the May.
6. If you enjoy outdoor activities but don't like the heat and humidity, visit during the months of April, May, September, and October.
